Sound Monster: 

* This Friday, March 10th, 2017, we will be feeding the Sound Monster.  Please send in 1 item (a toy, a book, a picture, etc. ) that begins with the "o" sound on Wednesday.  The item will be returned to your child at the end of the day.  If you cannot find an item, you can have your child draw a picture and write the corresponding word.  Some ideas for the "o" sound include: octopus, olive, octagon and ostrich.

* I have posted the new family project for the month of March. 

READING MONTH:

The month of March is READING MONTH here at Good Shepherd school.  Our school wide theme is the pirates and we will be doing lots of fun reading activities throughout the month.

SCHOLASTICS:

I am sending home the flyers for the month of March this week.  Please note that the deadline to submit your order is Wednesday, March 22nd, 2017.

MYSTERY BAG (SHOW AND TELL ACTIVITY):

 * This week: Jada and Tyrone will present their Mystery bags on Friday, March 10th, 2017.

OVERNIGHT BUDDY:

We will continue our overnight buddy activity this week. Each night a different child in the class will take home our class buddy Olivia the Owl and complete a page in her journal adventure book. Please return the overnight buddy and journal book in the ziploc bag it was sent home in the next day.

THEME TABLE:

Our new theme is related to St-Patrick's Day. I invite the children to bring in books, toys or objects related to our theme that we can place on our theme table in the class. Please be sure to write your child' s name on the item or book so that I can easily return it to you. Thank you in advance!
