Sound Monster: 

* This Friday, March 17th, 2017, we will be feeding the Sound Monster.  Please send in 1 item (a toy, a book, a picture, etc. ) that begins with the "w" sound on Wednesday.  The item will be returned to your child at the end of the day.  If you cannot find an item, you can have your child draw a picture and write the corresponding word.  Some ideas for the "w" sound include: watch, wallet, wagon, window and water.

MYSTERY BAG (SHOW AND TELL ACTIVITY):

 * This week: Devin and Abdulhadi will present their Mystery bags on Friday, March 17th, 2017.

OVERNIGHT BUDDY:

We will continue our overnight buddy activity this week. Each night a different child in the class will take home our class buddy Olivia the Owl and complete a page in her journal adventure book. Please return the overnight buddy and journal book in the ziploc bag it was sent home in the next day.  Very soon I will send home our second overnight buddy Freddie the Frog to visit the children's homes.

THEME TABLE:

We are continuing our  St-Patrick's Day theme.  I invite the children to bring in books, toys or objects related to our theme that we can place on our theme table in the class. Please be sure to write your child' s name on the item or book so that I can easily return it to you. Thank you in advance!

* The PPO (parent participation organization) has generously purchased a book for each child in the school for reading month.  I will be sending home the books in the communication folder.
