Please take note that since this is a very short school week (only 3 days, and only 2 days with me), we will not be learning a new sound or number this week. There will therefore be no Sound Monster this week either.* I have posted new pictures in the photos tab.

LIBRARY:
Library is set to begin this week. The students will visit the library with Ms. Brittany on Thursdays. The library books will be sent home in ziploc bags. Please be sure to send the books back to school by the next Thursday in the ziploc bags. Thank you!

The deadline to return the order form is: Friday, October 14th, 2016.
A very big thank you to all of the parents who were able to join us for the Thanksgiving Breakfast last week. Thank you to all of the families for contributing food to our breakfast and to everyone for helping with the set up and clean up. We all had a wonderful time!

REMINDERS:
The dark blue and light blue duo-tangs will be sent home every Monday and must be returned the following Monday. Throughout the week, please review the sound of the week and have your child complete the corresponding pages in the light blue duo-tang. Please have your child practice singing the weekly songs/poems and complete the activity at the bottom of the page (if there is one) in the dark blue duo-tang. Please refer to the introduction letter for a more detailed explanation of this on the 2nd page in the dark blue and light blue duo-tangs.
Please continue to have your child practice writing his/her name EVERY DAY. Please use the name card that was given to you on Meet the Teacher Night and have your child use lower case (small) letters for his/her name as opposed to all capital letters. Thank you!
