  • treats for the class: if you would like to send in treats for the class please be sure to send one for all of the children so no child feels left out.  There are 16 children in the class.  Please note there is NO OBLIGATION to send in candy or a treat.

Pizza lunch and bake sale:

On Monday, October 3rd, 2016 Good Shepherd School will host its first pizza day and bake sale at lunch. Please note there is no need to pre-order the pizza.  Simply have your child bring in his/her money and the lunch monitor and I will assist the children.  There is the choice of cheese pizza and pepperoni pizza. Each slice of pizza costs $2.50. Juice boxes are available for $1.00.  The children can purchase a dessert from the bake sale as well.  Please take note that the school cafeteria will be closed on this day, therefore please send your child to school with a lunch if he/she will not be purchasing pizza. Also, please send in a MORNING SNACK as usual, as the children will not be able to purchase items at recess from the bake sale.

Thanksgiving Breakfast:

On Friday I sent home a letter regarding Good Shepherd School's Thanksgiving breakfast (which is a school wide activity).  Families are invited to eat breakfast with our class and the school community on Wednesday, October 5th, 2016 from 8:30 AM to 9:30 AM in the gym.  I have asked all of the children to bring in a contribution for the breakfast.  Thank you for your support and I look forward to seeing you on Wednesday! :)

We will use the apples to make apple sauce this Friday and for a taste test as well as some Science and Math lessons.
