Sound Monster: 

* This Friday, April 1st, 2016, we will be feeding the Sound Monster.  Please send in 1 item (a toy, a book, a picture, etc. ) that begins with the "n" sound on Wednesday.  The item will be returned to your child at the end of the day.  If you cannot find an item, you can have your child draw a picture and write the corresponding word.  Some ideas for the "n" sound include: goat, gorilla, girl, and green.

MYSTERY BAG (SHOW AND TELL ACTIVITY):

 * This week: Uma and Vihaan will present their Mystery bags on Friday,  April 1st, 2016.

OVERNIGHT BUDDY:

Our class buddy, Freddie the Frog will continue to make his way around the class for visits at the children's homes.  Please have your child complete a page in his journal adventure book. Please return the overnight buddy and journal book in the ziploc bag it was sent home in the next day.

SCHOLASTICS:

Please note that the deadline to submit your order is Wednesday, March 30, 2016.

THEME TABLE:

We are continuing our Easter theme this week.  I invite the children to bring in books, toys or objects related to our theme that we can place on our theme table in the class. Please be sure to write your child' s name on the item or book so that I can easily return it to you. Thank you in advance!

REMINDER:

The blue and purple duo-tangs will be sent home every Monday and must be returned the following Monday.  Throughout the week, please review the sound of the week and have your child complete the corresponding pages in the purple duo-tang.  Please have your child practice singing the weekly songs/poems and complete the activity at the bottom of the page (if there is one) in the blue duo-tang. Please refer to the introduction letter for a more detailed explanation of this on the 2nd page in the blue and purple duo-tangs.
