* This Thursday, June 6th, 2019, we will be feeding the Sound Monster. Please send in 1 item (a toy, a book, a picture, etc. ) that begins with the "th" sound on Thursday. The item will be returned to your child at the end of the day. If you cannot find an item, you can have your child draw a picture and write the corresponding word. Some ideas for the "th" sound include: three, thirteen, thread and thimble.Number of the Week:

I have decided that the FARM family project will be for both the months of May and June. The deadline will be changed to Monday, June 10th, 2019.
FAMILY FISHING TRIP FIELD TRIP:
Last week, I sent home the permission form for our FAMILY FISHING FIELD TRIP. This outing is being paid for by Good Shepherd School. We are also providing a BBQ lunch of: hotdogs, chips, a juice box for the children and water bottle for the parents. You may also bring your own lunch. The deadline to return the permission form is on Friday, June 7th, 2019. Please be sure to return the medical form as well as the bottom potion of the letter.
Please note that the children can ride the school bus with their classmates and parents are asked to take their vehicles and meet us at the site. We can make car pools as well as many families have already volunteered to do so. If you would like to contribute a dessert or fruit for lunch, please feel free to do so. Thank you and I look forward to a fun family outing together!

MYSTERY BAG (SHOW AND TELL ACTIVITY):
* This week: Arissa, Leryk and Evan will present their Mystery bags on Thursday, June 6th, 2019.
OVERNIGHT BUDDY:
Our two class buddies will continue to circulate. Each night a different child in the class will take home our class buddy Freddie the Frog and complete a page in his journal adventure book. Please return the overnight buddy and journal book in the ziploc bag it was sent home in the next day. We will continue to send home Olivia the Owl as well.
