KINDERGARTEN CELEBRATION:
Our Kindergarten celebration will take place on Wednesday, June 19th, 2019 at 10:00 AM in the gym. After the celebration, we will walk to the park to enjoy a picnic lunch together. (weather permitting). Please be sure to come back to my classroom before you leave to collect your child' portfolio as this item is quite large and WILL NOT fit in your child's school bag. Also, please send the children in "dressy clothes" and they do not need to respect the colour dress code.
PARK DAY:
On Thursday, June 20th, 2019, we have planned a park and picnic day with grade 1. (weather permitting). Please see the reminder I will send home on Wednesday for further details and what to pack.*YOU CHILD WILL NEED TO COME TO SHOOL WEARING HIS/HER BATHING SUIT*
REPORT CARDS:
The term 3 report cards will be sent home electronically. Please note that the legend for the grades is DIFFERENT for term 3 than it was for terms 1 and 2. An "A" no longer means "The student is making very good progress", BUT NOW MEANS "The student exceeds the program expectations". Please refer to the explanation at the top of the report card.
CLASS WEBSITE AND PICTURES OF THE CHILDREN:
Please be sure to visit the Photos tab next week as I will update it with this week's pictures. Also, please SAVE any pictures of your children that you'd like. During the summer I will delete all of the photos from my google account in oder to make room for next year's class pictures.

Thank you so much to all of the parents and grandparents who took time out of their busy schedules to join us on our family fishing field trip last week. It meant so much to the children!
It is hard to believe that we are in the last week of school! We have had a terrific year together in Kindergarten! Thank you very much to all of you for your wonderful collaboration and support throughout the year to ensure that your little ones had a great first year of school here at Good Shepherd School.

*** SUPPLIES: I have begun to send home the different duo-tangs and supplies. I will send home a little bit each day. Please be sure to EMPTY YOUR CHILD'S BACKPACK EVERY NIGHT Thank you :)
FUN DAY:
Fun Day will be on Tuesday, June 18th, 2019 at Good Shepherd School. The PPO has organized lots of great activities for the children and will be providing 1 slice of pizza and a juice box for lunch. Please send in additional snacks for your child that day.
