* This Thursday, May 16th, 2019, we will be feeding the Sound Monster. Please send in 1 item (a toy, a book, a picture, etc. ) that begins with the "ch" sound on Thursday. The item will be returned to your child at the end of the day. If you cannot find an item, you can have your child draw a picture and write the corresponding word. Some ideas for the "ch" sound include: chocolate, chain, chair, chart and church.Number of the Week:

I have decided that the FARM family project will be for both the months of May and June. The deadline will be changed to Monday, June 10th, 2019.

We are continuing our farm theme this week. I invite the children to bring in books, toys or objects related to our theme that we can place on our theme table in the class. Please be sure to write your child' s name on the item or book so that I can easily return it to you. Thank you in advance!

MYSTERY BAG (SHOW AND TELL ACTIVITY):
* This week: Kiana, Samuel and Tucker will present their Mystery bags on Thursday, May 16th, 2019.
OVERNIGHT BUDDY:
Our two class buddies will continue to circulate. Each night a different child in the class will take home our class buddy Freddie the Frog and complete a page in his journal adventure book. Please return the overnight buddy and journal book in the ziploc bag it was sent home in the next day. We will continue to send home Olivia the Owl as well.
LITERACY AND NUMERACY WORKSHOP FOR PARENTS OF KINDERGARTEN STUDENTS:
Thank you to those who have already returned the RSVP slip for this workshop. If you have not already done so and are able to attend, please return the confirmation slip (even though the deadline has passed, we are still accepting parents as the session is not full yet). Lots of free materials will be given to those who attend :) Last year, this workshop was a tremendous success. I will be present at the workshop again this year.
