* This Wednesday, November 22nd, 2017, we will be feeding the Sound Monster. Please send in 1 item (a toy, a book, a picture, etc. ) that begins with the "R" sound on Wednesday. The item will be returned to your child at the end of the day. If you cannot find an item, you can have your child draw a picture and write the corresponding word. Some ideas for the "R" sound include: rat, rocket, robot, radio, rock, ring, rectangle, ruler and rhinoceros.
Last week, I forgot to send home a paper I usually send home with the report cards. I will send it home this week. Please sign the back of it and return it to school. I will send it home every term.
Please be sure to return the ORANGE and BLACK duo-tangs that Mrs. Lauren sent home last Thursday so you could take a look at some of the work the children are doing on Thursdays.
Please return your child's library book by TUESDAY in the ZIPLOC BAG. Thank you!
The blue duo-tang will be sent home every Monday and must be returned the following Monday. You will keep the purple duo-tang at home. Throughout the week, please review the sound of the week and have your child complete the corresponding pages in the purple duo-tang. Please have your child practice singing the weekly songs/poems and complete the activity at the bottom of the page (if there is one) in the blue duo-tang. Please refer to the introduction letter for a more detailed explanation of this on the 2nd page of both duo-tangs.
Please continue to have your child practice writing his/her first name EVERY DAY. If you feel your child is ready, you can have him/her begin writing his/her first and last name and then writing his/her phone number.
