Sound of the Week

Sound Monster:
* This Friday, May 28th, 2021, we will feed the Sound Monster with both the "X" sound and "Y" sound objects as we ran out of time last Thursday. If you cannot find an item, you can have your child draw a picture and write the corresponding word or print a picture from the internet. Some ideas for the "X" sound include: x-ray, fox and box. Some ideas for the "Y" sound include: yogurt, yo-yo, yarn and yellow.

RED DUO-TANG:
I will be sending home the RED duo-tangs this week. You can keep them at home as we will no longer be using them. Thank you. 😊
SCHOLASTICS:
I am sending home the paper flyers for the month of JUNE this week. I want to ensure the books arrive before school ends, so I am sending home the flyers a bit earlier. Here are the links for the ENGLISH and FRENCH digital flyers for you to look at. There are a lot more books than available in the paper flyer. The deadline to submit your order is Wednesday, June 2nd, 2021.

ICE CREAM: Make a Wish fundraiser Friday, May 28th, 2021
Mrs. Terry sent an email home last week regarding a fundraising activity for the Make a Wish Foundation. Please send in your donation of $2.00 (or more) by Friday, May 28th, 2021 as we will be having an ice cream treat. All money raised will go to the Make a Wish Foundation. Thank you for your support.
HOMEWORK:
Please keep the Alphabet Letter Sounds yellow homework duo-tang at home. Please refer to the first page in the yellow duo-tang for a detailed explanation of the homework.
The blue songs and poems duo-tang will be sent home every Monday and must be returned the following Monday. Throughout the week, please have your child practice singing the weekly songs/poems and complete the activity at the bottom of the page (if there is one) in the blue duo-tang. Please refer to the introduction letter for a more detailed explanation.
