Sound Monster:

* This Friday,  April 30th, 2021, we will feed the Sound Monster with "W" sound objects.  If you cannot find an item, you can have your child draw a picture and write the corresponding word or print a picture from the internet. Some ideas for the "W" sound include: watch, world, wallet, water, wreath and word.

CHARACTER DRESS UP DAY:

As part of reading month, we will have a special character dress up day on reading period after lunch on Wednesday, April 28th, 2021. The children can dress up in a costume or t-shirt that reflects a character in a book (example: Minnie Mouse, Spiderman, Elephant and Piggie, The Cat in Hat, etc.)

NAME ACTIVITY: 

Please be sure to return the paper (that was sent home last week) about how you chose your child's special name as soon as possible. 

HOMEWORK:

Please keep the Alphabet Letter Sounds yellow homework duo-tang at home.  Please refer to the first page in the yellow duo-tang for a detailed explanation of the homework. 

The blue songs and poems duo-tang will be sent home every Monday and must be returned the following Monday. Throughout the week, please have your child practice singing the weekly songs/poems and complete the activity at the bottom of the page (if there is one) in the blue duo-tang. Please refer to the introduction letter for a more detailed explanation.
