Sound Monster:

This Friday, November 13, 2020, we will feed the Sound Monster with the "f" sound objects.  If you cannot find an item, you can have your child draw a picture and write the corresponding word or print a picture from the internet. Some ideas for the "f" sound include: fox, flamingo, feather, flashlight  and frog.

As soon as the November paper flyer arrives at school, I will send it home.  In the mean time,  you can view the ENGLISH digital flyer here with lots more books than available in the paper flyer:

REMEMBRANCE DAY:

Please send in a LOONIE for a poppy.  We will be collecting loonies to donate to the Brossard Legion.  Thank you for your support.  

CHRISTMAS FOOD DRIVE:

Every year, we collect food and other items for the needy.  This year, each grade level is being asked to donate a specific item.  The KINDERGARTEN classes are being asked to donate TOOTHPASTE.  If you are able to donate a tube of toothpaste, we will be collecting donations at the school until December 17th, 2020.  Thank you in advance for your generosity. 

1ST COMMUNICATION WITH PARENTS (COMMUNICATION OF PROGRESS):

You will be able to access your child's first term communication of progress on November 19th, 2020 on the portal.  www.portailparents.ca

PARENT TEACHER MEETINGS:

This year we will be doing our parent-teacher meeting via ZOOM on Thursday, November 19th, 2020 in the afternoon and evening and on Friday, November 20th, 2020 in the morning. I will be sending home a paper for you to indicate your availability.  The meetings will last 10-15 minutes. I look forward to meeting with you (virtually) discuss the wonderful progress your munchkins are making in Kindergarten!

HOMEWORK:

Please keep the Alphabet Letter Sounds yellow homework duo-tang at home.  Please refer to the first page in the yellow duo-tang for a detailed explanation of the homework. 

The blue songs and poems duo-tang will be sent home every Monday and must be returned the following Monday. Throughout the week, please have your child practice singing the weekly songs/poems and complete the activity at the bottom of the page (if there is one) in the blue duo-tang. Please refer to the introduction letter for a more detailed explanation.

Please have your child practice writing his/her name in lower case letters EVERY DAY.  Please focus on correct letter formation (make letters from TOP to BOTTOM etc.).
