Sound Monster:

* This Friday, May 11th, 2018, we will be feeding the Sound Monster.  Please send in 1 item (a toy, a book, a picture, etc. ) that begins with the "sh" sound on Wednesday. The item will be returned to your child at the end of the day.  If you cannot find an item, you can have your child draw a picture and write the corresponding word. Some ideas for the "sh" sound include: shirt, shark, shorts and shell.

MYSTERY BAG (SHOW AND TELL ACTIVITY):

 * This week: Ariel, Julian and William will present their Mystery bags on Friday, May 11th, 2018.

THEME TABLE:

Our new theme(s) for the next few weeks will be Chicka Chicka Boom Boom (based on the book by the same name) and Monkeys. I invite the children to bring in books, toys or objects related to our theme that we can place on our theme table in the class. Please be sure to write your child' s name on the item or book so that I can easily return it to you. Thank you in advance!

OVERNIGHT BUDDY:

Our two class buddies will continue to circulate.  Each night a different child in the class will take home our class buddy Freddie the Frog and complete a page in his journal adventure book. Please return the overnight buddy and journal book in the ziploc bag it was sent home in the next day.  We will continue to send home Olivia the Owl as well.

Thursday, May 17th, 2018: 6:30 P.M. Family Literacy and Numeracy Night (PLEASE RSVP if you have not already done so if you would like to attend).
