Sound of the week:

Sound Monster: 

* This Friday, May 26th, 2017, we will be feeding the Sound Monster.  Please send in 1 item (a toy, a book, a picture, etc. ) that begins with the "sh" sound on Wednesday.  The item will be returned to your child at the end of the day.  If you cannot find an item, you can have your child draw a picture and write the corresponding word. Some ideas for the "sh" sound include: shirt, and shell.

Important Information:

* I have posted the final family project for the months of May and June combined. 

MYSTERY BAG (SHOW AND TELL ACTIVITY):

 * There are only 5 weeks of school left!  For the remainder of the school year, I ask that you send in your child's Mystery Bag item  in his/her school bag and I will place it in the Mystery Bag before the presentations.

This week: Nathan, Le Shaya, Dylan and Malayka- Hope will present their Mystery Bags on Friday, May 26th, 2017.

OVERNIGHT BUDDY:

Our two class buddies, Olivia the Owl and Freddie the Frog will continue to make their way around the class for visits at the children's homes.  Please have your child complete a page in the journal adventure book. Please return the overnight buddy and journal book in the ziploc bag it was sent home in the next day.

THEME TABLE:

This is our last week learning about dinosaurs. I invite the children to bring in books, toys or objects related to our theme that we can place on our theme table in the class. Please be sure to write your child' s name on the item or book so that I can easily return it to you. Thank you in advance!

Wednesday, June 14th,  2017:  Father's Day fishing trip field trip (more info. to come shortly) 

Tuesday, June 19th,  2017: Kindergarten Celebration (Graduation) and picnic lunch (morning only) *** Mark your calendars! ***
