Sound Monster: 

* This Friday, May 26th, 2017, we will be feeding the Sound Monster.  Please send in 1 item (a toy, a book, a picture, etc. ) that begins with the "th" sound on Wednesday.  The item will be returned to your child at the end of the day.  If you cannot find an item, you can have your child draw a picture and write the corresponding word. Some ideas for the "th" sound include: three, thread and thimble.

SCHOLASTICS:

I am sending home the last Scholastic order for this year.  Please note that the deadline to submit your June order is Wednesday,  June 7th, 2017.

OVERNIGHT BUDDY:

Our two class buddies, Olivia the Owl and Freddie the Frog will continue to make their way around the class for visits at the children's homes.  Please have your child complete a page in the journal adventure book. Please return the overnight buddy and journal book in the ziploc bag it was sent home in the next day.

MYSTERY BAG (SHOW AND TELL ACTIVITY):

 * There are only 5 weeks of school left!  For the remainder of the school year, I ask that you send in your child's Mystery Bag item  in his/her school bag and I will place it in the Mystery Bag before the presentations.

This week: Nathan, Le Shaya, Dylan and Malayka- Hope will present their Mystery Bags on Friday, May 26th, 2017.

* This Friday, May 12th, 2017, we will be feeding the Sound Monster.  Please send in 1 item (a toy, a book, a picture, etc. ) that begins with the "x" sound on Wednesday.  The item will be returned to your child at the end of the day.  If you cannot find an item, you can have your child draw a picture and write the corresponding word.  It may be difficult to find objects with the "x" sound, so any  object with an "x" in it will be fine. Some ideas for the "x" sound include: xylophone, x-ray and box.
