Sound Monster: 

* This Friday, May 5th, 2017, we will be feeding the Sound Monster.  Please send in 1 item (a toy, a book, a picture, etc. ) that begins with the "q" sound on Wednesday.  The item will be returned to your child at the end of the day.  If you cannot find an item, you can have your child draw a picture and write the corresponding word.  Some ideas for the "q" sound include: queen and quilt.

* I will be posting a  new family project for the months of May and June combined shortly. 

SCHOLASTICS:

I am sending home the flyers for the month of May this week.  Please note that the deadline to submit your order is Wednesday, May 10th, 2017.

MYSTERY BAG (SHOW AND TELL ACTIVITY):

 * This week: Jannatul and Jada will present their Mystery bags on Friday, May 5th, 2017.

OVERNIGHT BUDDY:

Our two class buddies, Olivia the Owl and Freddie the Frog will continue to make their way around the class for visits at the children's homes.  Please have your child complete a page in the journal adventure book. Please return the overnight buddy and journal book in the ziploc bag it was sent home in the next day.

THEME TABLE:

This week, we are wrapping up our Penguin theme.   I invite the children to bring in books, toys or objects related to our theme that we can place on our theme table in the class. Please be sure to write your child' s name on the item or book so that I can easily return it to you. Thank you in advance!

Monday, May 22nd, 2017: Victoria Day HOLIDAY- School and daycare are closed today

Wednesday, May 24th,  2017:  Pizza day and bake sale today 

Wednesday, June 14th,  2017:  Father's Day fishing trip field trip (more info. to come shortly) 

Tuesday, June 19th,  2017: Kindergarten Celebrations (Graduation) and picnic lunch (morning only) *** Mark your calendars! ***
