Sound Monster:
* This Friday, January 20th, 2017, we will be feeding the Sound Monster. Please send in 1 item (a toy, a book, a picture, etc. ) that begins with the "B" sound on Wednesday. The item will be returned to your child at the end of the day. If you cannot find an item, you can have your child draw a picture and write the corresponding word. Some ideas for the "B" sound include: bug, ball, bike, broccoli, brush and bag.

* PLEASE NOTE THAT I WILL NOT BE AT SCHOOL ON MONDAY, JANUARY 16th, 2017, SINCE MY DAUGHTER IS SICK THIS EVENING. ALL NEW ACTIVITIES WILL BEGIN UPON MY RETURN ON TUESDAY. THANK YOU!
MYSTERY BAG (SHOW AND TELL ACTIVITY):
I am sending home a letter explaining our new show and tell activity that will begin this week. Every week 2 children will take home our mystery bag and fill it with a special item to present to the class. The presentations will always be on FRIDAYS.
* This week: Nathan and Le Shaya will present their Mystery bags on Friday, January 20th, 2017.
OVERNIGHT BUDDY:
I am sending home a letter to explain our overnight buddy activity. Each night a different child in the class will take home our class buddy Olivia the Owl and complete a page in her journal adventure book. Please return the overnight buddy and journal book in the ziploc bag it was sent home in the next day.
SCHOLASTICS:
I am sending home the flyers for the month of January today. Please note that the deadline to submit your order is Wednesday, January 25th, 2017.
THEME TABLE:
We are continuing our new winter theme this week. I invite the children to bring in books, toys or objects related to our theme that we can place on our theme table in the class. Please be sure to write your child' s name on the item or book so that I can easily return it to you. Thank you in advance!
