Sound Monster: 

* This Friday, February 1st, 2019, we will be feeding the Sound Monster.  Please send in 1 item (a toy, a book, a picture, etc. ) that begins with the "Z" sound on Friday.   The item will be returned to your child at the end of the day.  If you cannot find an item, you can have your child draw a picture and write the corresponding word.   Some ideas for the "z" sound include: zipper, zebra, zucchini, zoo and zero.

MYSTERY BAG (SHOW AND TELL ACTIVITY):

 * This week: Vivan, Arissa and Leryk will present their Mystery bags on Friday, February 1st, 2019.

OVERNIGHT BUDDY:

Our overnight buddy Olivia the Owl will continue to make her way around our class.  Please return the overnight buddy and journal book in the ziploc bag it was sent home in the next day.

THEME TABLE:

We are continuing our winter theme.  I invite the children to bring in books, toys or objects related to our theme that we can place on our theme table in the class. Please be sure to write your child' s name on the item or book so that I can easily return it to you. Thank you in advance!

* I have posted the new family project for the month of January. 

* I have posted new pictures of the children in the Photos tab.  

Please continue to have your child practice writing his/her first name EVERY DAY.   If you feel your child is ready, you can have him/her begin writing his/her first and last name and then writing his/her phone number.

MYSTERY BAG (SHOW AND TELL ACTIVITY):

I am sending home a letter explaining our new show and tell activity that will begin this week.  Every week 3 children will take home our mystery bag and fill it with a special item to present to the class. The presentations will always be on FRIDAYS.

* This week: Kaiden, Jude and Kansika will present their Mystery bags on Friday, January 18th, 2019.

OVERNIGHT BUDDY:
