Sound Monster: 

* This Friday, December 7th, 2018, we will be feeding the Sound Monster.  Please send in 1 item (a toy, a book, a picture, etc. ) that begins with the  "M" sound on Wednesday.  The item will be returned to your child at the end of the day.  If you cannot find an item, you can have your child draw a picture and write the corresponding word.  Some ideas for the "M" sound include:  monkey, mail, monster, macaroni, mushroom, and marshmallow.

Important Information:

Hello families!  I am happy to be back at Good Shepherd School and with my kindergarten munchkins. :) For the month of DECEMBER, I will be working on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays. Ms. Kelsea will continue to replace me on Tuesdays and Thursdays for DECEMBER. 

Please be sure to check this website every week again!

Also, I will continue to use CLASS DOJO in class. However, please communicate with me via the agenda, by telephone and by email. The class Dojo account is connected to Ms. Kelsea's teacher account and I may not receive all of your messages immediately if they are sent by Dojo.

THEME TABLE:

Our new theme until the holiday break will be gingerbread man and Christmas. I invite the children to bring in books, toys or objects related to our theme that we can place on our theme table in the class. Please be sure to write your child' s name on the item or book so that I can easily return it to you. Thank you in advance!

*A very big thank you to the Chiu family (Leia's family) who donated lots of beautiful holiday books to my class last year that I have displayed in the class for the children to enjoy. *

SCHOLASTICS:

Please note that the deadline to submit your order is Friday, December 7th, 2018. If your order if a surprise, I can send it home in a sealed envelope.

REMINDERS:

The blue duo-tang will be sent home every Monday and must be returned the following Monday. You will keep the purple duo-tang at home. Throughout the week, please review the sound of the week and have your child complete the corresponding pages in the purple duo-tang.  Please have your child practice singing the weekly songs/poems and complete the activity at the bottom of the page (if there is one) in the blue duo-tang. Please refer to the introduction letter for a more detailed explanation of this on the 2nd page of both duo-tangs.

Friday, December 21st 2018: PJ and Movie Day! (come to school dressed in pyjamas)
