Sound Monster: 

* This Friday, January 26th, 2018, we will be feeding the Sound Monster.  Please send in 1 item (a toy, a book, a picture, etc. ) that begins with the "z" sound on Wednesday.  The item will be returned to your child at the end of the day.  If you cannot find an item, you can have your child draw a picture and write the corresponding word.  Some ideas for the "z" sound include: zipper, zebra, zucchini, zoo and zero.

Important Information:

Please take note that I will be out of town and absent from school starting on Thursday, January 25th, 2018 until Friday, February 2nd, 2018.  I will be back at school on Monday, February 5th, 2018  (which is a PEDAGOGICAL DAY) if you need to contact me.  Mrs. Lauren will be replacing me for the majority of my absence.  Please direct all questions to her and she can relay any messages to me upon my return to school.  

* On Wednesday, January 24th, 2018 I will be at school and you can reach me, however I will be in meetings all day along with Mrs. Lauren,  therefore there will be a substitute teacher. 

THEME TABLE:

We are continuing our winter theme this week.  I invite the children to bring in books, toys or objects related to our theme that we can place on our theme table in the class. Please be sure to write your child' s name on the item or book so that I can easily return it to you. Thank you in advance!

* I have posted the new family project for the month of January. 

* I have posted new pictures of the children in the Photos tab.  

Please continue to have your child practice writing his/her first name EVERY DAY.   If you feel your child is ready, you can have him/her begin writing his/her first and last name and then writing his/her phone number.
